Gate Valve Lockout 25–63.5 mm (1 to 2½ inch): Stop Unauthorised Valve Operation

An open gate valve during maintenance can cause a serious incident. This gate valve lockout device covers the handwheel and holds it in position, so nobody can open or close the valve while someone is working on the line.

How it works
The lockout consists of two flattened half-moon covers that fit completely over the valve handwheel. Add your safety lockout padlock and the cover can still spin freely around the handwheel, but it can’t operate the valve. The valve stays isolated until the person who applied the lock removes it.
